Through partnerships, the CareSearch model enables others to provide support to groups with specific needs without the need to duplicate infrastructure or compromise product development due to cost and resource constraints. This partner activity is either underpinned by the CareSearch model to inform product development through use of evidence, and/or enabled through technical functionality including web hosting of partner products.
The End-of-Life Directions for Aged Care (ELDAC) project is another pivotal point within the Australian end of life and palliative care environment. ELDAC signposts availability of national specialist palliative care and advance care planning advisory services for older people. In its relationship with ELDAC, CareSearch is both a collaborator through its host Flinders University, and a provider of content via the palliAGED website. The CareSearch model facilitates the online presence of ELDAC, ensuring accessibility of the information and resources being provided.
