Paediatrics

COVID-19 has been identified as a key issue for health care. The Australian Government has adopted a whole of government emergency response which provides a framework for preparing for, responding to and managing COVID-19 in Australia.

There is limited research and information on COVID-19 and paediatric palliative care. The following information has been developed based on emerging information and evidence around the clinical presentation and management of children with COVID-19.

Variations in guidance between countries, states and health networks may occur. Please refer to local guidance where available and consider non-pharmacological and pharmacological approaches as appropriate.
